Welcome to Just Blog.

It's so good to have you here! As a new Just Love group, we are SO excited to finally have our blog up and running. We want to share our journey with you as we embark on this exciting adventure. We believe transparency is so important and we want to keep you in the loop at all times because trust us, it hasn't all been plain sailing!

We have six amazing committee members, but our family is growing! Grace and Iona are our co-presidents, Luana is our treasurer, Helen is our local correspondent, Graeme is our International correspondent, and Sydney is our social media representative.

Starting a new group is hard work and we have all felt the pressures which this responsibility bares. However, through the struggles and obstacles which we have faced we have also had so many victories - big and small! God has been so good! During our first few months, he has brought peace to our stresses, affirmation to areas where we have lacked confidence, and resolution to the challenges which we have faced. He has showed us areas of social injustice which make his heart ache and through this, our hearts now ache too. We want to see human trafficking abolished, we want to see the homeless have a home and we want to see the people around us living more ethical lives.

Engaging the people around us is so, so important. We see a city filled with students who are active and passionate; students who use their faith to propel them into the lives of those who are victims of social injustice. We want to be a mobile network, never stagnant; a group of resourceful people who both assist existing organizations and who also trail-blaze new movements which bring about change.

So stay tuned - there's so much more to come!

Lot's of Love,

Just Love.
